About Jake: In his fourth season as the
starting Varsity second basemen, Jake plans to coniue to terrorize
pitchers around Section IV. Already holding several school
records, Jake is eyeing one more in the school record for hits in a
career (110, Pat Riley, 1999-2002). A patient hitter with a great
eye, Jake draws walks and creates problems for opponents.
With the fastest hands on the team, Jake shows great power for
his size. After missing ten games with a pulled hamstring, he
seeks to improve on his already eye-popping statistics. Jake is
also the only player in Johnson City Baseball history to have won three
Section IV Championships. Driving in runs and playing solid
defense, Jake looks to lead his team to a fourth consecutive title.
